Nauticat 525 Overview

The Nauticat 525 is an evolution of the popular 515. It is an enviable blend of a Sparkman & Stephens hull design and the high quality build for which Nauticat is rightly revered. The 525 is known as a “pilothouse sailing yacht” as opposed to a traditional motor sailor. This is an important distinction and one that we fully agree with having test sailed MERELLE with her owner. The Nauticat 525 retains the benefits of the strong heavy build, but the Sparkman & Stevens designed hull allows her to perform well under sail. It should be noted that the hull was initially designed for Nautor Swan and then later was used by Nauticat.

MERELLE Description

MERELLE is a superb example of the 525 which has seen little use, resulting in the interior joinery being in superb condition. She has seen recent investment including:
