Royal Huisman 105 Gliss

Designed by Philippe Briand, with interiors by Pieter Beeldsnijder, and built by the Royal Huisman shipyard: Glissmust surely be the epitome of pedigree.
Philippe Briand has shown his flair for design to create a polished, modern look with sleek, well-proportioned lines.With strict attention to performance, Briand has drawn the moderate displacement hull with an America's Cupinspired high performance keel. The deep spade rudder and assembly are made from carbon-fiber as are Gliss' mastand boom. Her waterline length has been optimized, and balanced with her length overall for aesthetic appeal.
Pieter Beeldsnijder was set the challenge of designing a reflection of the owner's passion for crisp practical designlines. The texture of limed oak set against custom nickel finish fittings and a palette of natural colors for softfurnishings add the sparkle to Beeldsnijder's design.
A cleverly designed deckhouse with push button slide down side windows optimizes the pleasures of theMediterranean atmosphere, extending the main cockpit to this covered area for true indoor/outdoor living. Thenavigation area at the forward end of the deckhouse is complete with a full array of of navigation and communicationequipment.
Accomodating a full width owner's cabin and two guest cabins in the aft ship, Beeldsnijder has cleverly incorporateda dayhead not typically found on a yacht of this size.
Located mid-ship is a full width engine room with standing headroom and moving forward alongside theentertainment lounge is a convenient additional single-guest cabin.
Next forward is a large open galley. In the crew quarters the dinette has a direct access to the deck and furtherforward two cabins with separate bathrooms provide accomodation to a crew of four.
Her flush, clutter free deck with spacious lounging areas offers a selection of smart design features such asintegrated sunbathing beds, tidy pop-up deck cleats and concealed deck hinges for hatches. An articulated carbonfiber swim platform folds neatly out of the transom which in turn gains access to the tender garage and assortedwatersports equipment.
Gliss is a delight to sail, be it daysail, circumnavigation or bucket-style racing!

Entering from the aft deck, the deckhouse offers a phenomenal 360-degree panoramic view of the surroundings. Theconnection between the interior and exterior is superbly executed and offers comfort in all weather conditions,whether cold or warm, with excellent access to the aft deck. Breakfast, lunch, cocktails and dinner will be servedhere, with the windows and hatches able to be opened and closed as required. Navigation from the deckhouse ispossible under all circumstances.
The aft companionway on the starboard aft side of the deckhouse leads to the guest quarters and the day head. Eachof the three guest cabins has its own en-suite bathroom.
A few steps at the front of the deckhouse lead to a comfortable entertainment area, opposite which is a single guestcabin that can also be used as a pilot cabin.
The galley is a pleasure to work in, and there is a separate crew mess with access to the foredeck. As a result, thetwo crew cabins at the bow are well separated from the owner’s quarters. The two crew cabins each also enjoy theirown ensuite.

Gliss' deck is flush and clutter free in true Huisman/Rondal style. When opening the tender garage, a staircase leadsdown to the garage and, of course, the large swimming platform with all its accessories.
The aft deck is equipped with a dual helm station, each with a full navigation system. There are many different placesfrom which guests can enjoy a day’s sailing. The side decks are wide and safe, and feature a number of storagehatches.
The mast and Park Avenue boom are easily accessible from the foredeck; two furlers are recessed into the foredeck,and the anchor with its windlass is housed below deck in the peak.

The engine room is full beam and easily accessible from the entertainment area midships. She has standingheadroom and offers excellent access to all the equipment.
Main engine is a Scania type DI 12 65M, 316kW, 426HP @ 1.200 rpm and 16.773 hours (1 June 2026).
Propellor installation: Hundested VP5, variable, diam. 900mm, four blades.
Reduction box: ZF, type W350A, reduction 2.636: 1, angle down 7 degrees.
Two Kohler generators type 28EFOZD, 27kW, (33.8 kVA) in soundbox and 8.500/8.900 hours resp. (1 June 2026).
Powerpacks: Alpatec/Rexroth, 3 hydraulic 24V motor/pump combinations for winches, furlers, thrusters, cylinders. Incombination with main engine PTO hydraulic pump.

The galley is nice and bright to work in and benefits from daylight. Equipment is as follows:
