Mural Yachts 28m ERAORA

ERAORA is a very substantial and appealing yacht with gross tonnage of 134 tonnes. She was built to RINA class by Mural Yachts in Turkey, launched in Spring 2011, she was kept in class until 2016. Her hull is built of mahogany and sheathed and West epoxy systems were used. The result is an extremely strong yacht which enjoys all the benefits of wood in terms of insulation and feel. We believe her construction method, materials used, and execution are all great positives.

Her design affords huge deck spaces; there is a wonderful shaded aft deck and the flybridge is a stand-out feature providing al-fresco dining and a choice of relaxation areas. ERAORA will allow you to entertain large groups of friends and family.

With four spacious guest suites, two double and two twins, ERAORA offers outstanding comfort aboard. The saloon has large windows, an internal helm, dining area, with a large bar area as well as a sofa facing a large TV. ERAORA has only been used privately, but the layout would work well for an owner wishing to offer her for charter. She has plenty of space in her garage for water-toys and she can accommodate up to five crew. Her current owners use her as a family yacht in which they are fully involved, with just a single crew member.

She is cutter rigged with powered furling for the headsails. With an LOA of just over 28 metres and a LWL of nearly 26 metres her twin Caterpillars can deliver 12 knots. She is extremely economical at speeds around 8 knots giving her a range of over 2,000 nautical miles under power.

Her systems and fittings are of top quality and highly specified.

Hull construction: Shell – strip planking, one layer 38mm mahogany plus three layers of 4mm mahogany, sheathed with two layers of 300gr/m2 woven roving. Frames and longitudinals are laminated mahogany

Decks in Burma teak on top of marine plywood
Keel ballast in cast lead
Skeg hung semi-balanced rudder
Epoxy – West systems used for hull & superstructure
Wrapped in dark blue

INTERIOR
Air conditioning: Cruisair separate Chillers with well-specified units for all areas of the yacht. Main compressor changed 2024

Floors are in oiled teak parquet
Ceilings – white lacquer
Pear and teak used for walls and decoration, executed to a high standard
LED lighting throughout

Huge saloon with bar/service area to port including sink, fridge and icemaker
Large dining table to starboard, which will easily seat eight guests

There are two symmetrical double cabins mid-ships; each cabin has a desk and generous storage spaces, a large, fixed window and an excellent en-suite bathroom

The forward guest cabins are also symmetrical and have good sized opening portholes. Each has an oversize single outboard and a good single inboard. Excellent stowage and bathrooms.

Crew cabins are forward and can accommodate up to four crew accessed via a large deck hatch. The Captain’s cabin is aft.
