Construction

The Ferretti Altura 840 is constructed with a GRP hull, displacing 75 tonnes when fully loaded. Boarding is facilitated by a Besenzoni electro-hydraulic passarella with remote controls.

Interior Layout

The main deck presents an open-plan saloon that connects directly to the pilot house. This living area utilizes panoramic windows facing four directions to provide substantial natural light. A partially separated dining area and a main-deck galley complete the primary interior layout.

• Main Engines: Twin MTU 12V2000 M93 diesels, producing 1,823 HP each.

• Thrusters: Maneuverability is assisted by ABT-TRAC 40 HP hydraulic bow and stern thrusters.


• Navigation: The bridge features a 2018 Raymarine upgrade, including three touch screen plotters, radar, autopilot, and multi-displays.


• Water Management: Fresh water is supplied by an Idromar 250 LPH watermaker, integrated with a Marlin purifying and filtering system.


• Capacities: Holds 7,000 litres of fuel and 1,560 litres of fresh water.


• Climate & Electrical: Temperature is managed by a Top-Climate 120,000 BTU air conditioning system. The primary battery set was replaced in 2022 with Sonnenschin units.


• Tender: Sold with a 3.2-meter Joker tender powered by a 40 HP Yamaha outboard.
