"Tartini Time" is a fine example of the 2003 Tartan Flagship. Her raised Salon Coach-roof provides light and visibility below, her Cockpit is secure, and her systems are all fine-tuned. Tartan uses thoughtful design that make sense to cruisers and weekenders alike, combining a comfortable, warm interior with top-notch sailing systems to provide a solid boat. The large spade rudder and wing keel provide upwind efficiency and downwind speed. The 3 blade feathering MaxProp allows her to slip through the water.
A two-Stateroom, two-Head layout with large the Salon and Galley in the middle allow for privacy, and the Dinette can provide another berth at anchor. The Galley is very workable with lots of storage, both dry and refrigerated. The Cherry wood used in the interior has been beautifully joined and finished. Task and mood lighting is easily controlled.
Electric winches do all the heavy grinding on all sail control lines led aft into the cockpit. The helm is ergonomically designed for sailing at any angle and has surprisingly good visibility. Decks are wide, with rigging run close to the coach house for ease of movement from Cockpit to Foredeck and back.
"Tartini Time" just relaunched after a "spa" session in the yard, where she received new bottom paint, Awlgrip touch-up, and buff & wax. She is in tip-top shape and needs nothing but you to take her sailing.
Tartini has an upwind 50' Santa Barbara Marina One Slip available for transfer at additional cost, call for details, and to set an appointment for a showing.
From the dock, ease through the lifeline gates to wide side-decks with unrestricted access forward and aft. The large cockpit is Sail Control Central, with all lines led to winches and stoppers. There is a hydraulic fold-out swim-step/boarding platform and a large cockpit table for comfort at anchor. Down the companionway steps brings you to a warm Cherry interior that has plenty of light from the large deck-salon windows, 7' headroom and more than adequate ventilation. Overhead lighting and some accent lighting is dimmable allowing a comfortable mood to be set when desired.
Stbd of the companionway steps and two steps down is the aft cabin with large hanging locker, drawers and a double berth. The salon features a large table with comfortable seating curved to match the table. Aft to port is the guest head, including a shower. The Nav Station is to stbd.
Down two steps to the U-shaped galley on port, with very large refrigerator and freezer space. Across to Stbd is salon access to the primary head compartment featuring a separate shower stall.
In the forward area, the primary suite features an island queen berth with hanging lockers and drawer storage. It's well lit both naturally and by adjustable lighting fixtures, a very comfortable nest.
