The Panerai Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio PAM00685 (2017 limited edition of 1,000 pieces) is one of the most faithful and beautiful recreations of the original 1940s Radiomir ever produced. This 47 mm polished stainless steel “Acciaio” case revives the exact wire-lug “Brevetto” design patented by Panerai in 1940 — the same shape worn by Italian Navy frogmen during WWII — but executed with modern precision and finishing.

The matte black sandwich dial is pure vintage perfection: oversized Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, baton markers elsewhere, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and beige Super-LumiNova that glows green in the dark for authentic historic character. Powered by the in-house hand-wound P.3000 calibre (21 jewels, 21,600 vph), it delivers a reliable 3-day (72-hour) power reserve with two barrels and a stripped-down, industrial finish visible through the sapphire caseback.

Delivered on a distressed brown “Assolutamente” calf leather strap with contrasting beige stitching and an oversized polished steel tang buckle, the PAM00685 is the ultimate “vintage reissue” that actually wears like a modern watch. Limited to just 1,000 units and now discontinued.
