The Rolex Submariner 5513 Maxi Mk1 is one of the most sought-after vintage Submariners because it marks the first Maxi dial, featuring oversized tritium hour plots on a matte black dial for exceptional legibility and visual impact.

Produced only for a short period in the late 1970s, it combines rarity with distinctive details such as the unique dial typography and “SUBMARINER” text placement.

Well-preserved examples with original matching tritium and correct period parts command significant premiums among collectors.

Case: 40mm screw back case that has been polished but the lugs are still thick and beefy with visible chamfers

Dial: 100% original matte Maxi MK1 dial with matching tritium hands. Dial is in near mint condition with no visible blemishes

Bezel: 100% original MK3 insert is in excellent condition.

Movement: Rolex caliber 1520 non-chronometer rated movement is in excellent condition recently serviced.

Accessories: Comes complete with box, punched papers, calendar, translation booklet & Rolex cerficate leather folder
