The reputation of the Patek brand was so high in Brazil that the word "Patek" was used as a synonym for a watch as such, regardless of whether it was actually a Patek Philippe or not.
Between 1902 and 1930, the company developed an exclusive collection specifically for the renowned Brazilian watch house Gondolo & Labouriau. These pocket watches feature wolf-toothed winding wheels, gold wheelwork, an eccentric fine regulation, and a "Moustache" balance spring.
