Feines Glashütter 18k Goldgehäuse in der Form „Bassin“. Deutsche Gold-Punzen und Lange & Söhne Punze in allen Deckeln. Cuvette glatt. Prächtiges und sehr feines Gehäuse ohne jegliche Inskriptionen. Sowohl das Gehäuse als auch das Werk befinden sich in einem sehr schönen Zustand mit nur geringen Tragespuren.

Zweiteiliges emailliertes Zifferblatt mit radialen Römischen Zahlen. Das Ziffernblatt ist signiert “A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte b/ Dresden.“ Kleine konstante Sekunde über der Sechs. Originale Gebläute Stahl-Birnen-Zeiger. Das Zifferblatt und die Zeiger sind sehr gut erhalten und absolut unbeschädigt.

Vorzügliches 3/4-Platinenwerk, Kal. 43/19''' Linien, gekörnt, vergoldet und signiert. Qualität 1A. Verschraubte Goldchatons. Goldschrauben-Kompensations-Unruh. Handgravierter Unruhkloben. Index Feinregulierung. Goldanker und Goldankerrad. Chatonierter Diamantdeckstein auf der Unruh. Staubschutz, gebläute Schrauben, Kronenaufzug. Das äußerst saubere, nahezu neuwertige Uhrwerk läuft einwandfrei und hat eine tägliche Gangabweichung von nur wenigen Sekunden.

Der Uhr wird das abgebildete Lange & Söhne Lederetui sowie der Stammbuchauszug des Deutschen Uhrenmuseums Glashütte beigelegt.

A. Lange & Söhne Grade 1A 18k Gold Pocket Watch with Box & Certificate, 1889

A large, nearly mint-condition Cal. 43 18k gold pocket watch from the A. Lange & Söhne watch manufacture in Glashütte near Dresden—manufactured in Grade 1A, Lange’s highest quality grade.

Diameter 52 mm, weight 106 g, Cal. 43/19" lines, movement no. 28 590, case no. 28 590, sold on December 31, 1889, to the firm Dürrstein & Co., Dresden, for 353.00 Reichsmarks.

Heavy 18k gold case in the “Bassin” shape. German gold hallmarks and Lange & Söhne hallmark on all covers. Smooth dust cap. Magnificent and very fine case without any inscriptions. Both the case and the movement are in very fine condition with only minor signs of wear.

Two-piece enamel dial with radial Roman numerals. The dial is signed “A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte b/ Dresden.” Small constant seconds sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position. Original blued steel spade hands. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and completely undamaged.

Superb 3/4-plate movement, Cal. 43/19, lines, grained, gold-plated, and signed. Grade 1A movement. jewelled to the centre with screwed gold chatons. Gold-screw balance wheel. Hand-engraved balance cock. Index fine-adjustment. Gold anchor and gold anchor wheel. Chatoned diamond endstone on the balance wheel. Blued screws, crown winding. The extremely clean, virtually mint-condition movement runs flawlessly and has a daily rate deviation of only a few seconds.

The watch comes with the Lange & Söhne leather box shown in the photo, as well as the extract of the archives and a certificate from the German Watch Museum in Glashütte.
