Vehicle description (by seller)

The highlight of the BMW pre-war era: The BMW 327 Sport Cabriolet was one of the most beautiful convertibles produced in Germany at the time – and technically one of the most advanced and therefore far ahead of its time (already on the level of the 1950s)!
Bodywork by Ambi-Budd, Berlin. Only 1,124 units were produced from 1937-41.

This example has been completely restored "down to the last screw" by one of the most renowned German restorers: Fa. Oldtimer-Manufaktur Mario Schrank, who has brought many magnificent pre-war vintage cars back to life as breathtaking icons over more than 30 years! The body (steel with an inner ash wood frame) has been practically rebuilt – just as it was factory-made back then!

Of course, the entire technology has also been restored – the engine, with many improvements regarding reliability, was recently completed by an engine specialist.
All work is documented with photos and supported by invoices totaling approximately €185,000. A valuation report is available.
The current condition of this magnificent car is definitely "a dream" and is likely unique!

Details: Correct 6-cylinder inline OHV engine (cylinder head controlled!), displacement 1,971 cc, power 55 HP at 4,500 rpm. 4-speed manual transmission with center shift, 4-wheel drum brakes with hydraulic actuation, front independent suspension with double transverse leaf springs. Curb weight 1,100 kg, top speed 125 km/h.
