‘Littlest Hobo’ is the “Maestro” version of the popular Owners Version of the Orana 44 from the well-respected French factory, Fountaine Pajot, and the world-class design team of Joubert-Nivelt. November 2024 survey available for review.
The production built Maestro 44 is built for comfort. While at anchorage or under sail to your destination, comfort is a constant theme throughout. Starting with the lounging area to starboard on the aft quarter to the spacious covered cockpit for entertaining and dining, to the huge walk-around deck access to the mast, anchor windlass, trampoline, and roller furling forward. Comfort and fluid design are evident throughout.
The elevated helm station seats two to three people and allows for easy communication with the guests below. All sail control lines (except halyards) lead to the helm for easy single or double-handed sailing with ease of operation for the winches and sail controls while underway. This efficient space also has excellent 360-degree visibility for safe navigation while underway.
Easily transition to the main salon from the cockpit (with no steps or obstructions). The double doors to the saloon embrace the outdoor living space and provide smooth flow in and out. The galley is conveniently located to starboard for easy prep, serving, and inclusion with guests. Ventilation is provided above the sink area but far enough away not to interfere with the stove flame. There is excellent air circulation available from two front opening ports and a corner fan. The main salon provides lots of space for preparation of food, serving and dining, storage, and flow throughout this U-shaped kitchen area.
The starboard owners side cabin has an island style bed and two reading lights, lots of shelving and storage space, and the bathroom has a separate shower to keep the area dry and organized. Forward is a well laid out storage area or workshop. The two guest cabins to port feature semi-island style (easy access) beds and the heads have their own separate showers, which is an added luxury feature in the Maestro design. Lots of storage areas throughout the three sleeping cabins provide comfort and access without the appearance of clutter for your personal items.
On deck, the windows are tapered to avoid trip hazards when going forward to grab a line or catch a mooring ball. Also forward is a large access locker for the windlass and storage area for lines and fenders, etc. The lounging trampoline forward (new 2020) provides a very comfortable area for relaxation and play, tanning, or drying off after a swim. The coach roof allows easy access to the mainsail and mast. It provides a sturdy base for the upgraded solar panel system.
“Littlest Hobo” has received numerous upgrades over the last few years by its knowledgeable owner. A list of items can be provided.
The owner is prepping the boat for a trip South to the Bahamas for winter and is available to deliver the boat to its next destination and can bring the buyer up to speed on systems and operation at that time.
Don’t let this one slip by. It's ready for your next adventure.
