Bottom paint, Stabilizer seal service completed May 2025

Vessel Overview

Oceans XI is one of the limited number of Super Yacht builds completed by Hatteras. She accommodates 8 guests in 4 VIP cabins and features a full crew deck with 3 cabins and 6 bunks. Since 2018, she has undergone a major refit, including:

  • Full electronics

  • Canvas

  • Paint

  • Running gear

  • Epoxy bottom

  • All appliances

  • Many soft goods

  • Exterior cushions

  • Carpets

  • Lighting

  • Entertainment systems

The owner has continued upgrading and maintaining her since then. She features a large salon, formal dining area, and a fantastic aft deck with seating for 8. There are two levels of bow lounging and ample space for guests. The large top deck includes:

  • Lots of seating with two large tables

  • 2 queen outdoor lounges

  • Hot tub

  • BBQ area

  • Wave runner

  • 15-foot center console RIB with a 90 HP engine

The MTU engines had major servicing in 2018 by certified mechanics in San Diego, CA. Since then, she has logged approximately 500 additional hours on her engines. She burns about 30 gallons per hour at 10 knots cruising with the genset running. With a 7,200-gallon fuel capacity, her range is 2100 nautical miles with a 10% safety factor (reportedly). She can reach speeds of 22 knots, but that is advised only for those who are members of OPEC.

The seller's use has changed, and they would like to find her a new home for another family to enjoy.

Information

Vessel Highlights

Oceans XI represents a significant achievement for the Hatteras Custom Division, built in 1991 as a raised pilothouse design for Mediterranean cruising. She offers:

  • Four staterooms

  • Walk-around side-decks

  • A generous swim-step/boarding platform

  • Elegant common spaces

Maintenance has always been very good. Now, under her fourth owner, Oceans XI is in great condition following a $1.2 million refit. The result is a yacht with tasteful new interior décor, gleaming bright-work, and paint, making her a smart purchase option for a new owner.

Over $1,200,000 was spent on:

  • All new Garmin electronics

  • Flair night vision

  • New AV and entertainment systems

  • New TVs and satellite system

  • All new appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, icemakers)

  • Exterior paint

  • Soft goods

  • Engine preventive care and repairs

Oceans XI is ready for play and is set up for 12 passengers. She sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins and accommodates up to 6 crew in 3 cabins in the forward crew area.

Accommodations

Aft on the main deck is an open but shaded seating area suitable for alfresco dining. Decks are teak, with clear wing doors opening to each side deck. A varnished teak dining table with gold inlay comfortably seats ten. A centerline bulwark door provides shore and swim-platform access.

The entire aft bulkhead to the deckhouse is built of clear Lucite panels; entrance to the main saloon is via port or starboard “invisible” doors. Between the two doors is a unique circular stairway leading down to the aft accommodations.

The main saloon features contemporary furnishings with opposing couches and matching coffee tables upholstered in earth tones. Window and door frames and hardwood trim are finished with a warm cherry stain. With low-sill windows and a transparent aft bulkhead, this space is bright and inviting. At the forward end of the main saloon is a semi-enclosed dining area, separated from the saloon by modern columns, which flank an aft-facing entertainment center.

The starboard passageway leads to a day head, then next forward to the flybridge stairway, beyond which is a comfortable on-deck stateroom with a centerline queen berth, plasma TV, suitable storage, and an ensuite head compartment with a separate shower, finished with ultra-modern fixtures. This stateroom is bright, intimate, and wheelchair-friendly.

On the outboard side is a more formal entrance door to the main deck, with a matching mid-ship door to port. All the way forward is the galley-style kitchen. (See GALLEY) Crew accommodations are located down and forward of the galley. (See CREW).

On the lower deck, the aft circular stairway opens into a pleasant library/foyer with a small couch, shelving, and lights suitable for reading. Aft to starboard is a twin berth stateroom, while the starboard stateroom features a queen berth. Each stateroom includes full-sized closets and bureaus, private baths with double sinks and shower compartments, private media components, and individual climate controls. Engine room access is also available via this foyer.

Forward of the engine room is the full beam owner’s stateroom with a private stairway originating in the forward port corner of the main saloon. This space is grand in scale due to the yacht’s 24’ beam, graciously furnished with an abundance of drawers, a large walk-in cedar closet, vanity area, and a large bathroom with elegant appointments.

The flybridge area was completely reconfigured and optimized during the 2008 refit, featuring a modern hot tub, larger tender space, and more intimate seating. The requisite grill, icemaker, and sink were also replaced and updated. Shaded seating is available for up to twelve. Further aft, two king-sized sun pads are on either side of the hot tub, which is surrounded by attractive teak. The flybridge is sheltered by an angled windscreen and Pompanette seating for two, with wrap-around helm consoles and all navionics attractively flush-mounted. The sloping foredeck offers two additional sunbathing spaces fitted with comfortable cushions.

Galley

All galley components were replaced in 2019. The arrangement was conceived by a professional chef with an emphasis on efficiency:

  • Microwave

  • Two refrigerators

  • Two freezers

  • Induction glass-top range

  • Two ovens

  • Dishwasher
