Recent Investments and Top Condition:

Since its purchase in 2015, no less than € 125,000 has been invested to bring and keep 'Odin' in top condition. This includes:

A completely renewed teak deck. The old deck was removed, and a new 5mm steel plate was welded underneath (treated with 3 layers of epoxy paint), followed by new marine-quality plywood and new teak.

Hull thickness measurement performed and plates welded where necessary.

The steel hull and superstructure have been repainted.

The mahogany superstructure has been fully renovated with new pieces.

The interior ceilings have been completely renewed with new upholstery and insulation.

A renewed electrical installation with Victron battery chargers (60A) and inverter (850W/1600VA).

A new boiler (30L - 220V + engine warmth).

New Eberspächer D5 Airtronic hot air heating (2023) with two new red diesel tanks.

A new refrigerator (88L) and freezer (65L).

The entire interior has been re-varnished.

The anchor windlass has been overhauled.

'Odin' offers generous dimensions of 14.00 m length, 4.00 m width, and a draft of 135 cm, ensuring a stable and comfortable journey. The headroom in the saloon is 195 cm. She offers 4 fixed berths and 2 extra berths spread over 2 cabins. The galley is fully equipped with a 4-burner gas stove and a combi oven with grill.

A good example of a professional build that was later re-purposed for leisure with a 2x 220HP engines and a very seaworthy flared bow, this vessel is now powered by two overhauled original Volvo Penta MD47 engines (from 1962, 2x 85 hp, 400 engine hours after overhaul in 2012), she is both powerful and economical with a fuel consumption of 5 liters/hour per engine. An electric bow thruster (Vetus 12V) makes maneuvering a breeze.

Seaworthy and Fully Equipped:

This Super Van Craft is seaworthy and equipped with extensive navigation equipment, including a Sestrel and digital Authelm ST30 compass, Authelm ST30 depth gauge, Garmin 126/128 GPS, Furuno 1000 JRC radar, and a Shipmate RS8100 VHF. Safety features such as life buoys, electric bilge pumps, fire extinguishers, and life jackets are present.
