For sale on her St Katherine Docks mooring in central London, 'Fochintulla' is a Coaster 49 (15m) Dutch style barge, designed by Nick Branson and constructed by UK builders RLL Boats in 2007, as an extremely high quality, luxury, full time liveaboard and a fully equipped coastal traveller.
The current owners installed a galley - fitted and designed by John Lewis - and electrical systems during their ownership. Most recently a new boiler (fuelled from the main diesel tanks) for central heating and hot water was fitted in January 2026. There is little doubt she has been carefully and enthusiastically maintained since their acquisition in 2011.
Refitted and painted 2025, this vessel has just arrived, following a cruise from Scotland, at London's prestigious St. Katherine Docks and is available for inspection by appointment.
Fochintulla is fitted out internally to a very high standard accommodating 5 or potentially 6 adults in a comfortable and spacious environment. She has all the charm of a typical Dutch influenced canal cruiser but with a keel and internally she has an 'English cottage' feel with light oak panelling and coordinated timber joinery that produces an ambience of calm and tranquillity.
The dominant aft positioned 'bridge' wheelhouse is a particular feature but equally her interior has been laid out for comfortable living aboard.

FORWARD CABIN has twin 'V' berths with hanging lockers to port and shelving to starboard with additional storage under each of the berths.
HEADS compartment to starboard with full height standing shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
MAIN SALOON & GALLEY "L" shaped GALLEY to port, dining area to starboard and large settee/berth at the forward part. The galley has been selectively dated to a contemporary design with units finished in off-white with complimenting preparation surfaces. Installations include a gas oven, 4 burner gas hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and wine cooler. A new Bosch cooker hood and external extractor were fitted in March 2026.The upholsteries compliment the interior style of the vessel in the traditional sense but with a modernistic appeal.
WHEELHOUSE area finished in traditional wood panelling to the same high standard with a definite 'big ship' feel from the central 'con' position. Maximised vision is afforded from large window areas for ease of management when underway. All engine and auxiliary controls / electronics are in close proximity with twin seats and a large aft facing chart table.
MASTER CABIN situated aft with a large athwartships double berth, built-in cupboards and storage and ample light from the port lights. En-suite HEADS with again a full height walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
