Stepping aboard Duet you'll find a large swim platform with a Hurley davit system as well as a locker with fender storage. Just forward you step into an expansive cockpit with a full enclosure and access to the starbard side walk around deck. You also find access to the flybridge which has multifunctional seating as well as a full suit of electronics and wet bar.

Just inside the salon of Duet is a large U-shaped settee to port and the galley to starbard. The galley offers a large counter surface as well as the cooking appliances including an induction cooktop and convection microwave oven. The forward end of the settee can be lifted to afford a forward facing observer seat allowing 4 to sit up high and looking out the windshield while underway.

The helm of Duet is an impressive area with the full Simrad Glass Bridge plus controls for the Humphree Interceptors, autopilot and all the amazing systems of Duet. There is a door at the helm leading out to the side deck where you can safely navigate forward to the foredeck or aft to cleating and the cockpit.

The accomidations level of Duet is one of the best uses of space in a 40' boat. A starboard cabin with two single berths, a port cabin with a double berth and the main cabin with the island queen berth. In addition you'll find a guest/day head as well as the main cabin ensuite with amazing separate shower!

The 405 Flybridge is a Nimbus Coupé model built for knowledgeable boaters who enjoy social activities, comfortable living quarters, ease-of-handling and excellent long-distance cruising properties. The flybridge has been constructed to harmonize fully with the design of the new coupé series. The roof has light, sweeping lines and incorporates a folding mast. A large, fixed skylight makes the salon very light and airy despite the superstructure. The flybridge features several cleverly functional and social spaces. The flybridge includes a wet bar, with sink, grill and fridge, sun bed, large sofa and a twin helm seat. The twin seat can be turned 180 degrees and thus form a roomy social seating area in combination with the sofa. If desired, the sofa can be easily converted into an additional sun bed.

All functions on the flybridge have been designed to allow the boat to pass beneath bridges after a few simple adjustments. Thanks to the “sidewalk” deck layout, walking space is maximized on the starboard side, making it very easy to get on and off the boat and to spend time on deck, while allowing generous space in the cockpit and cabin. The Nimbus Coupé series has been built since 1969 and more than four thousand of these boats have been sold worldwide. The 405 Flybridge is built in Mariestad, Sweden at the Nimbus boatyard.
