Nearly a decade ago, the beginning of this endeavor unfolded at Slane Marine, where the mold for the 62-foot Sportfish was started. After a few years into the build, circumstances prevented completion of this immense project and the opportunity arose for Brad Matthews to marshal it to fruition, harnessing the skills of former Hatteras craftsmen alongside talents from his other company, Matthews Specialty Vehicles. Custom is no new word for this crew.

Today, with over three years since the inception of Matthews Custom Yachts, we stand at the threshold of a new era. We look forward to continuing this legacy and bringing forth a new generation of custom sportfishing yachts.
