Stepping on board from the bow, one enters am extremely practical, storage/closet area with floor to ceiling shelving either side, before entering her simply enormous open plan galley and saloon. The galley is fully fitted with appliances, including a dish washer, which were all purchased new in 2023. The galley features great storage space and a charming butler sink whilst the work top space extends to a large breakfast bar which comfortably accommodates four people. The saloon area is a luxurious space in which to relax or entertain guests and features a powerful, programmable, pellet burner stove which supplements the diesel fuelled central heating system powering large radiators throughout the boat.

Moving further towards the stern, the bathroom is beautifully designed with a large walk in shower, very cool glass basin with storage unit beneath and a large heated towel rail/radiator. A compost toilet is fitted and the boat retains the plumbing for a pump out system should her next owner wish to install a toilet of this type.

Further down the corridor, leading from the saloon, and in the stern of the boat,, is the largest bedroom our London broker has viewed on a houseboat. Luxuriously carpeted, the bedroom is sufficiently spacious that her new owner could easily reconfigure the space to create a further single, or potentially, double bedroom…or a bunk bed room for children.

Off the bedroom, is access to the rear deck and this area offers (even more!) storage space.

Whilst designed as a full time live aboard houseboat, Nausicaa is a fully navigable boat and has cruised on the tidal Thames and the Lee on numerous occasions in recent years. • Bicycle - using London’s brilliant network of cycle routes, Shoreditch is less than 20 minutes away from Limehouse marina and even Westminster is less than a 30 minute cycle through the heart of the city and along the spectacular banks of the Thames. Boat owners at Poplar marina only need to add 5-10 minutes to these times.
• Tube - the Elizabeth Line transports boat owners at both marinas from Canary Wharf to Bond Street, in the heart of the West End, in just 15 minutes.
• DLR – for Limehouse boat owners, Limehouse station to Bank station is a 10 minute trip and for Poplar boat owners, Blackwall station to Bank station takes just 12-14 minutes.
• Boat (!) using Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, Canary Wharf to London Bridge is a15 minutes cruise…the ultimate way to arrive at work or start an evening out on the town!
