Engine and Performance

The boat is equipped with an electric outboard. At maximum throttle (3Kw), it runs for 1.3 hours. In practice, the boat moves well at over 4 knots using 1Kw, allowing for 4 hours of motoring. Extended running can be achieved by operating the Honda generator simultaneously, which provides 1Kw. The 48v system can be recharged through shore power, the Honda generator, or the regen facility of the outboard. Additional top-up charging can be provided with an appropriate solar or wind generator.

This boat also features practical strong points at the mid-point of each sponson for mooring or sail setting.
