Matty Beau is a 1985 36' Kadey-Krogen Manatee trawler. She features a newer single Volvo-Penta D3 1101-E 110 HP main engine, a newer Westerbeke 5.5 kW generator, a Heart Interface 2,000 watt inverter, dual Racor fuel filters with a vacuum gauge, and a Vetus bowthruster. The seller has lived aboard her in Baltimore Harbor for several years, but has now moved to Europe, making Matty Beau available for sale.
Aside from the hardtop and Eisenglass enclosed flybridge helm area and foredeck, all features of the Manatee are located on the same-level main deck. The hardtop covered aftdeck includes two deck chairs and a table, a stainless steel & teak ladder to the flybridge, and a boarding gate on each side. Enter through the double teak & glass doors into the salon, which offers wrap-around seating and two lounge chairs to starboard. Moving forward, you will find the galley to port, the head with an enclosed shower to starboard, and the stateroom located all the way forward with an island queen size berth. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.

It has storage under the helm, a Springfield helmseat, an Avante refrigerator, a 110 vac outlet, a 12 vdc outlet, wrap-around seating with storage aft, and an entrance on each side. A large open sundeck aft features a hinged mast, two teak chairs, a folding teak table, a Magma stainless steel BBQ grill, and a hatch with a stainless steel & teak ladder to the aftdeck. Molded-in steps to the foredeck are located forward on each side deck.
The aftdeck features a hardtop, a teak deck, two chairs, two stools, and a table, with a boarding gate on each side, lazarette access, a stainless steel & teak ladder to the flybridge, and a transom gate/swimplatform.
