Heart of Oak is equipped with twin Volvo Penta 122D 480HP engines.The current owners have fitted rope cutters to each of the drive shafts.

Maintenance is excellent. Her underwater profile had a full epoxy coating in 2017 when the current owners also fitted bow and stern thrusters. A great deal of electrical work was completed in 2018 and the engines have been meticulously maintained.

This beautifully cared for boat has covers aplenty to keep the harsh winter weather at bay, from a full cockpit cover to covers over all the hard wood hand rails and hatches. Heart of Oak is cared for at every turn. Her overall condition is a testament to the attention to detail of her owners over the years.

An incredibly seaworthy vessel, her pilot boat hull was molded by Halmatic. Dale Sailing Company (now Dale Nelson) fitted out the interior. She offers up to 6 berths in three cabins and two heads.

The Halmatic Talisman 46 design features an elevated command bridge that provides excellent visibility from the upper helm position. The saloon and second helm station are reached by steps that descend from the upper helm.

Additional stairs lead aft to the owner’s cabin, which has sofa seating, a double island bed, generous wardrobe and drawer space and an en suite bathroom which boasts the luxury of a half-length bath.

The forward stairs from the saloon take you down to a dinette, which converts into an additional double berth port side. On the starboard side is the well-equipped galley.

Forward from the galley on the starboard side is the second head / day head with shower. A forward guest cabin has two single berths. On the port side, a third cabin has two more single berths.

The vessel is in stunning condition and a credit to her current owners, who have had the vessel since October 2016. In her lifetime, the vessel has had only three owners, including the current owners who have winterised and serviced her every year in their ownership.

Engine hours are verified by the existence of the original hour metter (reading 1299) and detailed logs of every trip since it was replaced. Total Hours are now recorded as 1870.
