In Hörstel-Dreierwalde, just a few minutes by car from the A 30 and nestled within a high-quality landscaped park, lies the spacious country house Carpe Diem. A new development plan, which was amended last year, offers the future owner a variety of interesting usage possibilities.
Mr. and Mrs. Mechthild and Ludger Sunderdieck, owners of this property since 1987, now wish to part with Carpe Diem for health reasons. "We want to give others the opportunity to enjoy this dreamlike paradise. It is fairy-tale beautiful here in every season," enthuses Mechthild Sunderdieck, gazing over the large park. The country house was rebuilt and extensively renovated in 1999 after a fire. During this process, approximately 770 sqm of living and utility space with high-quality furnishings were created. Included are three apartments, which can now be expanded to up to four small apartments or seven guest rooms based on a modified development plan. Additionally, there is a roughly 150 sqm event room with a kitchen and sanitary facilities, which, in connection with the park, is ideal for operating a café or bistro. Moreover, the currently unused attic with about 200 sqm, after minor finishing work, can be converted into additional living spaces or other uses. The park-like garden impresses with a beautiful pond area with a bridge, rubble stone walls, and an archway. Sculptures and various decorations provide interesting visual focal points. For many years, the site hosted the exhibition "Beautiful for House and Garden" with up to 10000 visitors and over 110 exhibitors took place. A small alley leads to a massive tower building made of sandstone, which was built in 2006.

A special highlight is the sandstone tower built in 2006. On a usable area of 95m², there is a wine cellar, bathroom, kitchen, fireplace, and an office.

The house impresses with its lovingly landscaped, park-like garden, with a pond system, a bridge, a rounded arch made of rubble stone, a high-quality rose pavilion with a copper roof, and other beautiful garden details.

The country house built in the Westphalian style with a white plaster facade and many sandstone elements now has approximately 770 m² of living and utility space after being rebuilt following a fire in 1999. On the ground floor, there is an event room with a usable area of 180m². With its kitchen, sanitary facilities, and comprehensive technical equipment, the room can be used, among other things, as a seminar or conference room, for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, or as a country house café. The kitchen can be easily expanded.
