The photos are sample photos of one of our prepared Spitfires
When British Leyland took over the struggling Triumph factories in 1961, they found - hidden under a tarp - the "Bomb" conceived in 1957. A design by Michelotti, which was immediately built under the direction of British Leyland and first presented to the interested public at the London Motor Show in 1962 as the Spitfire. By 1964, the slightly modified but most stylish MK2 was on the market. It is one of the most charming, most stylish small convertibles ever to see the "light of the world." This heartbreaker – with a total weight of 735kg – is extremely agile and quite sporty. The MK 2 also benefits from the modified chassis with improved independent suspension and an additional wishbone.
This Spitfire is being restored by Scuderia Sportiva Colonia and enhanced with the stylish hood of the GT6.
The following work will be carried out:
*Extended major service for engine, transmission, chassis, brakes, and electrical system
*Repainting in the desired color
*New soft top
*Refurbishing the interior, seats, cockpit, and instruments
*New tires
Optional special requests are possible, such as
*Chrome luggage rack
*Wire wheels
*Monolith steering wheel
