Rolls Royce Corniche

History

The Rolls-Royce Corniche is the most exclusive luxury-class convertible from its time, with truly enough space for 4 people. It was built from 1971 until 1987. The Corniche was handcrafted at the British coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward. Equipped with a 3-speed automatic, front and rear disc brakes with ventilation, air conditioning, a wonderful Connolly leather interior, elaborately crafted woods in the doors and dashboard, as well as lots of chrome and the probably most famous radiator figure "Spirit of Ecstasy" or also called Emily, this Rolls Royce exudes "Noblesse Oblige" with dignity to this day. This Rolls Royce was really not inexpensive, and it is hardly surprising that only a few of the truly rich, important, and beautiful ordered one of the total 3,239 dream convertibles from Rolls Royce. To this day, this Corniche remains a statement.

History of the vehicle offered

This Rolls Royce Corniche is from the first series, which can be recognized by the chrome bumpers and the more beautiful instrumentation. It was originally delivered as a left-hand drive from the factory, presumably to the USA. Its trail is lost until 1990, when this Corniche was registered in Sweden for the first time. We were allowed to purchase this convertible from the second and last Swedish owner. The odometer shows just over 22,000 miles. The interior and leather are like new and most likely still the original equipment, with a high degree of certainty. Wood, carpet, engine, chassis, soft top, everything is almost perfect and very well maintained. Only the paintwork needs improvement, which we are now addressing.to implement, so here are the few photos. On the passenger side, a garage dent and minor stone chips need to be repaired. Afterwards, we are allowed to hand over a very lightly patinated, mostly very original Corniche to the new owner. The color combination is very noble and elegant. A fantastic, very stylish four-seater convertible, perfect for unforgettable trips to sunny destinations.
