Boat Description

This beautiful de Jong 11.60 AK was specifically built to travel for a longer period of time. The current owners had her built/built with that in mind. Since launching, the ship has always been in the hall from September to the end of April and sailed from May to the end of August, each time with a longer trip.

Construction and Design

To ensure undisturbed enjoyment, every aspect has been considered during construction, and there are many clever solutions on this ship.

Boarding and Interior

You board via the middle openings. The spacious aft deck can be used to look around nicely. You enter the saloon via the hatch, where a few things immediately stand out:

• There is no standard "boat bench" but a beautiful, leather bench, which immediately brings a homely feeling.


• There is a beautiful teak parquet floor.


• The inside steering position is 'modular' built, allowing for easy updates without annoying holes in your dashboard.

Master Cabin

In the back is the master cabin with shower room. It features:

• A spacious bed of 1.60 by 2.00.


• A wet cell with only a shower and sink.


• The shower is 80 x 80 with a lockable door.

Guest Cabin and Pantry

The toilet is placed before the saloon and the pantry, near the guest cabin. The pantry is spacious with many storage possibilities and a dinette to have a nice quiet breakfast in the morning.

Engine and Maintenance

Under the saloon floor, the 6-cylinder Mitsubishi is under a very well insulated floor, so that engine noise hardly penetrates. The floor under this engine is so clean that you could eat from it. The entire interior is so well protected that rust will not stand a chance. Furthermore, all (electrical) components in the engine compartment are easily accessible.

This ship has been carefully thought out and is ready to provide many years of wonderful voyages with a new owner.
