Vehicle description (by seller)

The Mercedes-Benz W109 300 SEL 6.3 was introduced in Geneva in March 1968. Mercedes engineers installed the 600 V8 engine with 6.3 liters of displacement from the state limousine into the S-Class, creating the fastest production limousine in the world. 250 HP and 510 Nm of torque make this relatively lightweight car perform with such ease that even the then-undisputed German highway king, the Porsche 911, was left behind.

Our vehicle from 1970 has been completely "Frame-Off" restored: without regard to cost, we Europeanized the car imported from Philadelphia by a US soldier stationed in Germany and restored it to the factory delivery condition. The extremely rare color combination of Beige-Grey Metallic with coffee-brown leather was given an extraordinary depth of color through nine (!) layers of paint.

This perfect six-cylinder with extensive equipment also represents a real investment in value when considering net return (after maintenance and entertainment costs).
