Vehicle description

Various BMW E9 Coupés are available from the specialist Scuderia Sportiva Colonia

Bodywork by Karmann

Selection between good and inspected, or fully restored BMW Coupés

an icon of BMW with racing genes from the successful BMW touring car era of the 1970s

Our favorites

The elegant CS Coupés are among the milestones from BMW - not least - because of their fantastic silky-smooth six-cylinder engine and very elegant design. The bodies were built between 1968 and 1975 by Karmann for BMW and then transported to Munich for completion.

The first models were the 2800 CS, followed by the 3.0 CS with carburetor versions. In autumn 1971, the first fuel injection model variant, the 3.0 CSI, was added.

Scuderia Sportiva Colonia has paid special attention to these technically sophisticated Coupés. The stunning shape, excellent chassis, very good brakes, and powerful engine were - in the early 1970s - the benchmark. The interior pampers the owner with luxurious materials, the seats are comfortable with acceptable side support, and the individually framed VDO round instruments are still a sight to behold today. A very comfortable sports car to see and be seen in, with unmistakable DNA from its very successful touring car history.

The legendary and very sporty CSL "Lightweight" variants - originally intended only for racing use - are also part of the delivery program of Scuderia Sportiva Colonia.
