Only 19 units of this Salmon Tickford Coupé / Cabriolet on Short 15hp chassis were built. It has been with its current owner for 17 years - the beloved family member is being sold due to age. Hence the modest price.
An extensive documentation describes the car's history over the past years. The aluminum bodywork is particularly beautiful - without rust or corrosion. Inside, it is equipped with a wooden dashboard, is right-hand drive, and has a semi-automatic pre-selector gearbox [Pre Select] with 4 forward and one reverse gear. The top speed was listed at 90 km/h at the time.
In the last 20 years, significant investments have been made in the preservation of the vehicle. The automobile has successfully completed many rallies and outings without failures. For the lover of British way of life - one should not be in a hurry but enjoy gliding through nature and the joy of this very special pre-war technology.
The Armstrong-Siddeley company existed for only 41 years but proved that British engineering at the time was very innovative and constantly produced new inventions.
