Overview

The ACURY Kokomo Ailand is a private floating habitat based on semisubmersible platforms. It offers bespoke luxury and design, incomparable features and entertainment, and state-of-the-art Mega Yacht amenities with the flair of an Exotic Island.

Design and Safety

This gigantic project is based on one of the safest platforms available in the high-tech oil industry. It is designed to be a luxury hideout for the owner and family, featuring ample amenities and outdoor space to create the feeling of being on a private island.

The floating habitat is engineered for the harsh environments of the North Sea, particularly in the Norwegian, Northern UK, and West of Shetland sectors, with a focus on high safety standards and comfortable offshore accommodation. This self-propelled habitat can withstand the roughest seas, making it safe to place in tropical or Mediterranean waters.

The island can be relocated as desired, from the Italian coast to the Greek islands or even to Dubai, the Far East, or the Caribbean for winter.

Engines and Maneuvering

Engines: Triple Azimuth drive systems on each side, Inboard, Diesel/Electric, 6x4750KW, Wartsila Diesels.

The ACURY self-propelled floating habitat can be equipped with a Dynamic Positioning (DP) control system, DP sensors, and a positioning reference system to maintain its position when not anchored. The six generators drive the six full Azimuth drive systems, electrically powered and driven, with fixed pitch as variable speed thrusters, allowing for main propulsion during transit and for station keeping (DP).

Mooring

An 8-point mooring system can be installed (4 on each side) for safety offshore, utilizing Rolls Royce electric-driven mooring winches. Together with the Dynamic Positioning (DP), this creates a perfect combination for remaining in the same place offshore.

Green Technology

Due to the available space and the Diesel electric option, green technology solutions can be integrated as well.
