Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 Rosso Rubino – 1962 (Chassis 3503 GT)
This Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 from 1962, with chassis number 3503 GT, is a stunning example of a landmark model in Ferrari’s history. As the first true four-seater within the GT range, this car marked an important step for the brand from Maranello: finally, comfort and performance could go hand in hand, without compromising on style or emotion.
This particular example was delivered new in May 1962 to Carlos Kaufmann C.A. Venezuela, a well-known and influential Ferrari importer in South America – a detail that only increases the historical value of this car. The bodywork was originally finished in the elegant colour Rosso Rubino (16119 MM), a deep and warm shade that beautifully enhances the lines of the 250 GT.
Originally, the car had an interior in Pelle Blu VM 3015, but this was later replaced by stylish black leather (Pelle Nera VM 8500). This subtle change gives the car a sober, timeless appearance that fits perfectly with its classic character.
Under the long bonnet lies a jewel of engineering: the famous Colombo V12 engine with a displacement of 2953 cm³, a symmetrical V-angle of 60°, and an exceptionally smooth character. This twelve-cylinder is not only powerful but above all a joy to drive – with a rich soundtrack that turns every kilometre into an experience.
What makes this example especially remarkable is its original, unrestored condition. The paint, bodywork and technical components are largely as they left the Maranello factory. Although the car has seen little use in recent years, it is in good condition. A thorough technical inspection is recommended before more intensive use.
Finally, chassis 3503 GT comes with an official Ferrari Classiche certificate, confirming its authenticity and placing it among the truly collectible classics.
A unique opportunity for the enthusiast looking for an original, stylish Ferrari V12 with a story – and above all, a car that continues to move you every time you see or start it.
