The Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Cabriolet is regarded as one of the most elegant and appreciated luxury convertibles of the 1960s and 1970s. This example underwent a professional restoration in the past and is presented today in a stylish Green–Beige configuration with a well-kept interior and soft top in good condition. The W111 Cabriolet is known for its refined build quality, timeless appearance and comfortable driving characteristics.

This example belongs to the rare Flachkühler version.
This variant features a lower and flatter radiator/grille assembly compared with earlier Hochkühler cars, giving it a sleeker and more elegant profile. The Flachkühler was produced for only a short period, making it considerably rarer and highly desirable among enthusiasts.
Interesting fact: only just over 1,000 examples were built in this configuration, further increasing its collectability.
Depending on specification and production year, W111 models could be equipped with automatic transmissions, manual 4-speed gearboxes, and gearshifts mounted on the steering column or on the floor.
